Kdmouse81, The simple, literal answer is yes, because you can put training wheels on anything. But you probably want to know if they are readily available. No, they aren't. This is a bad, dangerous idea. For his own safety, he should learn how to balance a manual bike before he tries to ride a powered bike. If he has a disability that prevents him from riding a manual bike, I suggest helping him to ride this razor (or a manual bike) by holding it upright for him and trotting along with him. When he can balance well enough, turn on the power.

Bought a 16 inch rosebud girls bike. No kickstand was in the box. Are you suppose to lay it down when u are through riding?

Apparently. They come with training wheels so how would they fall over? You could go to a Bike Shop and see if they have small kickstands for it when the training wheels come off. None of MY bikes have kickstands (or training wheels). Teach her to lay it down gently on its left side.

20 inch Slumber party bicycle will not accept training wheels? Rear threaded axle is not long enough to allow for training wheels (that i cna find)

Yes you can add training wheels to this bike. The origional axle is too short, however, if you are mechanical enough, you can remove the axle and buy a longer one. I did this for my daughters bike, and for abot 5 dollars you can pick up a longer axle which will accept training wheels. But be warned, there are several bearings and you need to place them back in the correct position or the bike will not work.

The training wheels won't reach the ground. I loosened them and lowered as much as possible and theare still above the back tire and will not touch the ground at the same time

The training wheels are not meant to be as low as the back wheel. The idea is that the child learns to balance the bike but if it goes over to one side the training wheel touches the ground and stops the bike from falling

18inch misty girls bike any training wheels available?

Yes, you can use the same training wheels that are intended for 20" wheeled bikes. check with your local bike shop, they should have in stock this time of year. Or you can get on-line of course.

I bought a set of EZ trainer training wheels at Goodwill for my Granddaughter a couple of months ago. I was going to put them on her bike today but then realized that there was no hardware with it. Only...

Doubtful, There may be a spare parts kit available through a distributor that a bike shop can order for you. And/ or if the particular shop carries alot of childrens bikes then they may have some spare hardware.

Training wheels are the kind of product that is carried as a complete unit, and ordering spare bracket kits which are not much less than the complete kit is generally not worth it to a shop.

Go into your local bike shop and see what they can do for you, Who knows they may have the parts and will install for you as well. Good luck.

Install training wheels

when installing the training wheels, check to see if it is put together in this order ....flat washer, training wheel, flat washer, lock washer, nut. I hope this helps. If you are missing any of these you can find them at any auto parts store, Wal-mart, or hardware store such as Lowe's or Home Depot. (Be sure to take the traing wheel and nut to make sure you have the right size)

How do you install training wheels on the girls slumber party bike

Most training wheel kits come with directions in the kit. Do one side of the bike at a time. Start with the left side and when tightening the nut back up make sure the rear wheel is still centered in the fork . When you do the right side it is the same but you have to make sure the chain stays in adjustment as well as the wheel being centered. Usually you have to remove the nut on the side that you are working on. The kit should come with a little bar with a hole in it that fits over the bolt that you just removed the nut from. Make sure that the flat side faces out and the protrusions on the bar fit into the slots on the fork. Next mount the bar with the training wheels on the bike over the first bar. Put the washer supplied in the kit over that and then screw the nut back on. Pay attention to the wheel being centered and the chain being tight enough not to slip off the crank when pedalling. Make sure you get the proper size for the bicycle. There is a video here that explains it http://www.ehow.com/video_4974885_put-trining-wheels-bike.html
