The equalizer set up is filtering voice audio. Check the settings and place them in the default mode.

I have problems with the audio of movies for Region 2 DVD's. I do not have any problems with TV Series, just movies. I can hear the background music, etc. but not what the actors are saying.

Check the sound settings of the player. It might be that you have the wrong sound settings for playing back DVD's. If you use a surround system, check the centre channels settings.

You need to adjust the equalizer on your media player. You can use any pre-defined equalizer settings.

DVD's music and background but no talking

Try adjusting the sound on the tv. If you go into the "user" audio options you can select between normal and True Surround SXT. That may work. Otherwise, try playing with your dvd player's options. The problem I'm having is the tv plays the sound before the picture.

No sound

Sounds to me like your center speaker is either not connected, or somehow not working. The not working part could be explained by a failed speaker or, possibly a failed amp in the unit.
