I have the model #DS6222-5 and the problem I am having is two of the phones work just fine but three of them have no dial tone and give me a "unable to call try again" message. I have tried the troubleshooting suggestions to no avail. Please give me some ideas as to how this may be fixed. Thank You Paul White

One of my phone is stuck in search mode what do i do it i a vtech 6772.It is a three phone combo other two phones work fine

HI, To switch back to tone dialing, hold down the SELECT button for couple of seconds. The display on the base unit will read PU indicating pulse dialing. Now press and hold SELECT to change it to TN (Tone dialing).

Can receive calls but cannot dial out on Verizon landline phone

Try punching in the number to call first THEN hit talk.. It should dial and call at that point..

Just like when making a call from your cell phn - dial the # first..

I would contact your phone provider. It could be a coinceidence that the dial tone stopped working.
DSL does not require dial tone to work.

Problems with handsets

Are they cordless phones?If they are they get there dial tone from the base.If there is a blinking red light on the hand sets they lost communication with the base.Check your user manual to see if you need to program them to the base.
