How i connect tata docomo sim - Computers & Internet

It may be the bands on which Tata Docomo network operates may not fulfill by the Nokia Classic 2700 phone.

Please try your sim card in some another phone.

You have to unlock the Netsetter to run TataDocomo. If your Netsetter is unlocked one please follow the following settings. Data Bearer : GPRS
Access Point Name : TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET (Most important)

Even i had the same problem once.
First switch off the phone and remove the battery and put it in and try once more.
Iif it doesnt work its either your phone's board is destroyed.Or you can just fix it by taking a duplicate sim.
if it is the board problem there is no fix.
you can get the dupe sim easily.just got to the tata docomo servic point with ID proof.

tting you just need send “INTERNET” to 52270 which is toll free number for Tata Docomo users. Within 5 min you will receive setting message, just save that ‘TATA DOCOMO DIVEIN’ setting to your phone and you are done. Most of the people are confused with the APN. Let me clear you after activating your setting just select you APN as DOCOMO internet.

Didn’t get Settings? Set it manually, you can edit any of the previously available setting on your phone of any ISP follow the following steps:
1) Connection Name : select any name that you wants to ( Let us select “Tata docomo”)
2) Data Bearer : GPRS
3) Access Point Name : TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET (Most important)
4) IP Address : Either select it as automatic or blank
5) Do not edit rest of the setiing, leave them as it is.

Your Soul, MMS and GPRS settings are service provider specific. Ask Tata DOCOMO to activate MMS and to provide you the settings for your phone. In my case, Airtel, whenever I remove the SIM and reinsert it, first thing I know is that I receive the GPRS settings along with MMS and Airtel Live settings on my phone and I can start browsing in a second or two on insertion of SIM. So, contact Tata DOCOMO for the settings and activation of MMS service.
