How can i get a channel scan for ah polaroid LCD television

Make sure that you are scanning DIGITAL channels. If you are, then unplug the unit and re-plug it to cause re-boot. After re-start, select scan DIGITAL channels.

U have no cable right?U have a roof antena?Or get a good digital antena.Hook it up.Get in the tv menu go to SETUP go down to CH. pick AIR and let it scans to complete,u will get all the Local channels,and other free AIR channels when it scan it complete.

did you run a channel scan or setup if not do so and you will be alset

this wright this tv is hdtv monitor and does not have digital tuner

go into the set up menu and set the signal input to AIR, the rescan for channels. Directv should have been going into a sat box then into a different input than the Ant jack so make sure your on the right input

You must have a tuner, but the one built into the TV will work fine. Have you scanned for available channels after connecting your antenna?

Chech with you cable company to see if they switched to the higher chanels. I do not know if you are connected directly to the antenna or a cable box.

they passed a law a couple years ago, see now you have to BUY cable... right now ur just gettin what ever the antenna on ur tv picks up. buy cable or dish or somethin and u get like 70-150 channels
