The volume is extremely low when I make a call. It didn't used to be like this. Pressing the up volume button helps, a little bit, but barely.

My Yamaha RX - 460 receiver's volume output is extremely low even when put at maximum setting. Sound does come through both speakers.

One of the most common problems that causes this is someone may have accidentally turned on the tape monitor switch. You turn the tape monitor on/off by pressing the tape 1 or tape 2 button. Hope this helps.

I am trying to use the screen snapshot and every time I use the volume and on/of button the picture takes the picture but it shows the volume control status.

It is possible that you are not pressing the two buttons at the exact same time. If you press the volume button a little bit before the power button you will have to wait for the volume bar to fade away before you take another screenshot.
If this isn't the issue then the phone might have a programing error

Can extreme cold cause brake light on dash to come on?

Often, the brake light on dash indicates low brake fluid. Check that first. Cold could affect the level a tiny bit so that warm it's close to low level, cold is on low level.

Resetting the timer for the lamp on a PT-56DLX76?

stephanie286,

Here is the porcedure:

The procedure is a little bit tricky so that you do not do it accidentally.

1. Turn on the television.
2. Press the volume down button on the TV display (not the remote)
3. While pressing the volume button, press the "split" or "PIP" button on the remote.

If it works you will see a message saying the lamp timer was reset to 0 and the indicator will turn off.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Problem with voume

Do you mean that by pressing the volume button it changes the volume to one of these 'extreme' levels only? In either case it sounds like a hardware problem as in probably not DIY. Sorry.
