I am including a link to the Facebook terms page. Unfortunately, Facebook does reserve the right to close any account they wish based on the terms and policies stated. One common mistake that I have seen, and had some close friends make, is use a nickname for their name on Facebook. Because of this, Facebook disabled their accounts and I believe they had to create a new account with their real name.
Sorry for the frustration. All I can say is, keep trying to contact Facebook or create a new account, and reread the terms so this doesn't happen again.
