The factory code combination to your electronic lock will remain in the memory of the unit - even if the batteries go dead. Any use programmed codes will be lost if the batteries lose power. The Sentry programmed factory code is always your default code.

Our safe had a philips screw at the bottom of the keypad (facing downward), not a paperclip hole as some do. To replace batteries, unscrew this setscrew and twist the face gently. Replace the 4AAs and reinstall faceplate/fingerpad. Should work.
