call tmobile and tell them then they will send u another one free of charge

check t-mobile support for firmware update.

If you can't get one from tmobile support you will most likely have to send this one in for service.

Yeah, more than likely the lcd cable connection is loose. That is what the white screen usually indicates.

It is fairly easy to take a apart and reseat.

The Sidekick ID doesn't support being connected to the PC. That is why the usb port is hidden.

The only way to make it work is if you get the developer software and key.

The LCD has gone bad. You can get a replacement one for about 30 dollars from ebay. It is super simple to replace. 2 screws is all.

take out the battery blow it 15 times then blow the back of the phone 15 times your hardest then out the battery back into place and then the loading screen would show thats what happen to me i hope it works good luck

If you sidekick ID screen is white, you may be able to fix it. The flex cable connection cable on the lcd screen itself can come loose. Chance are if you tighten it, the screen will work again. I have had success with sidekick II and sidekick 3 with this same problem.

The following instruction for a sidekick 3 but it is the same for a sidekick ID. Just reseat your lcd instead of installing a new one.

You can try hard reset to see if that will clear it. With the unit powered on, pull the battery out.
