Check the black cartridge, it may be out. If it is ok, print a test page to see it will print black. If it does not print black, there may be toner spill blocking the black toner sensor.

Wrong Color Printing

Hi,
Type "print nozzle test" in the search box and click Search. Perform a nozzle test, and if the colors match what are on the instructions, your print head and inks are OK.

(1) If the print head and inks check out OK, type "wrong colors on print" in the search box, and you will see several troubleshooting steps you can try.

(2) If the nozzle test colors are off, confirm that you are using BCI-6 inks for all three colors and the small black tank. You should only have a BCI-3 tank in the large black position. If you have all the correct inks, your machine probably needs to be serviced/ repaired.

My Officejet 6000 E609n printer doesn't print the correct colors. The red is printing yellow and the blue and green are a lighter version of what is on the screen. I have cleaned the printer head

Hi,

This is not a cartridge issue. IT is Printhead issue. Since you have done the manual cleaning, it is now time to replace the Printhead.

Using the Pixma mp800, running from windows 7, when I try to print in black and white photographs, the printer adds greens. How do I correct this?

Hello,
your printer makes black from cyan, magenta and yellow when you tell it to prin black and white photographs. In the Printer Preferences you will find an option that is called: Print in High Resolution Grayscale using only the black cartridge.
If you check this function your printer will print only black and white with grayscale and will not use the color cartridge.

The colors do not print correctly.everything is blue/green/yellow. the ink cartridges are new. black prints fine. the troubleshooting optin only lets me select to remove lines, it wont let me adjust the...

The magenta cartridge isn't working correctly. This is why you're only getting the other colors (blue is cyan, green is cyan and yellow, and then yellow).

Try removing and reseating the magenta cartridge. If that doesn't work, use a new magenta cartridge (the cartridge itself may have been defective).

I wasn't able to view a manual for this machine, as it's been discontinued and Lexmark no longer offers the PDF on it. If you have a "clean print heads" option, use it. It may require more than one try. If you don't have that option, then all possibilities have been covered.

Hope that's helpful.

Epson Stylus Pro 4000 is printing green instead of black

Hi mariann346i am having the same problem with my EPSON RX 595 printer.
i can not print in black and white, it always prints in green.
i also notice something els, even after refilling my six cartridges
and only trying to print in black and white, my yellow ink is running out just as fast as my black so i guess they are somehow mixing together. you should check to make sure your yellow isn`t doing the same.

COLOURS PRINTED DO NOT MATCH SCREEN COLOURS OF ITEMS

I would try cleaning off the nozles on your print cartridges. If that doesn't help, replace them altogether.
