You don't need a driver.


The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.


Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

enter Vivitar ViviCam 3720 user manual into your search engine and see lots of sites offering manuals. Could not see it on Vivitars site so must be an old camera.

This camera don't have any software for any windows operating system computer and even the manufacturer don't have any software for it, If you just want to download pictures from the camera going to your computer , you just simply connect the camera to your computer via USB and it will be detected autoamatically and that's it you can now transfer pictures from camera to computer....

The USB cable can be gotten at any camera store. There is nothing on the CDROM that you need to operate your camera. Most software supplied by manufactures are imaging programs you can use to modify your pictures. Better programs like Google Picaso are free to download.

Follows the steps and download the driver :-

4) Select Product -> SN9C201(Phase out)
5) Click Submit Serach Button.
6) Link for download driver will open.

I just posted a comment on this cam recently...
I bought a new cam and my vivitar is going spare mate.
As i suggested in my last comment, i am happy to give this away for free..
If ur hapy to pay whatever minimal postage it would cost, I would be happy to give youi my vivitar 3720, its rarely been used, (once last year for a 2week holiday)

I'm sure it's not worth spending any money on getting it repaired, given the cost of new cams now.....
