Set box in hole.
Slide long part of box support behind sheetrock as shown in image.
Center box support so it fits behind sheetrock above and below the box
Push box tight against sheetrock and fold flanges into box.
Install 2 box supports - one on each side of box.
Fold flanges very tight so box is not loose >> use pliers to tighten

Insert one support on the right side of the hole in the sheetrock and the other support on the left side. Keep the short leg of the part that goes into the wall down and the longer leg up.
While holding the tabs that now project out toward you, insert the electrical box into the opening. Make sure that the box has projections on top and bottom that prevent the box from falling into the opening.
Now bend all four tabs into the box. The supports only keep the box from coming out the front of the hole in the sheetrock, the projections on the box keep it from falling into the hole.
Push the 4 tabs fully into the box so they are flat against the inner sides of the box. The box should be tight in the opening.

Box in ceiling has black wire and white wire & the ceiling fan has white wire, black wire and red wire.

BEFORE YOU PERFORM ANY CONNECTIONS BE SURE THAT THE CORRECT CIRCUIT BREAKER FOR THE BOX HAS BEEN TURNED OFF! You must check for voltage between the white and black wires at the ceiling box with each of your two wall switches toggled up or down ONE AT A TIME!
The green wire in the ceiling box (or bare copper wire) is your ground wire and should be connected to the green wire of the fan, and also should be mechanically connected to the electrical box by a screw or clip. If your system was wired correctly you should find that it already is connected to the box.
The white wire in the ceiling box is your neutral wire, so any and all white wires from the fan should be connected to it. You may have one for the fan motor and one for the light kit if there are two separate whites from the fan. Again, they may already be connected together in the fan/light assembly.
The black wire in the ceiling box is switched on and off from either of the two switches in the room, which I assume are located near two different doors to the room. These are called "three-way switches". They are not marked "on" and "off" on the toggle like any single-light switches in your home. That is why you must check for power at the ceiling box with the switches in each position one at a time to make sure that the circuit is de-energized.
Now for the connections:
You will need to connect both the red and black wires from the fan to the black wire from the electrical box. The black wire in your ceiling box is your "hot" wire and will provide power to both the fan motor (black wire) and to the light through the red wire--(sometimes this wire is blue, for others who are following this post).
With this arrangement, your fan and light will only operate with one or the other of your three-way switches completing the circuit from your breaker box. You will have to use the pull chains on the fan to control the fan and lights. So you will probably want to leave the light "pulled on" so that you can control the room lighting from either of your three-way switches, and operate your fan speeds from the pull chain. However, if you want your fan only on at night you will have to "pull off" the fan's light switch.
You may find all this switch flipping and chain pulling an inconvenience. If so, hire an electrician to install wiring so that the ceiling box will be "hot" all the time to the fan's black wire and the fan will therefore be operated by the pull chain only, and the light kit will be controlled by either of the three way switches, via the fan's red (or blue) wire.
One other caveat before you begin: you must make sure that the ceiling box is rated for and mounted sturdily so that it will support the weight of the fan and light kit. Many ceiling boxes are designed and mounted to support only a light-weight fixture. You don't want your fan to come crashing down from the ceiling!

Hello there, usually when you want to install a virtual machine the first thing to do is determine if the virtual machine platform is compatible with the OS you are planning to install. I had similar problems with VM ware when i was trying to use it with vista and it was one error after the other.
Needless to say VM Ware is not so compatible with vista. If you really want to use a virtual machine for vista without hassles simply switch to Virtual Box from sun micro systems. You can download this for free from virtual box.org the system is straight forward, easy to use and has great support capability for vista OS.
Hope this support has been helpful?

I have changed from Broadband to Wireless and now my Canon IRc4080 won't print. I have turned everything off, turned it all back on, checked the plugs, changed the cable between the printer and my switch...

I would print out the user data list and see if these settings are what you had before. If these are correct, I would use the CMD function of DOS and ping the address of the copier. If connected correctly you should get a reply. You may have to go the the Canon support site and download the setup installer for driver software. http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/office/color_imagerunner_copiers/Color_imageRUNNER_C4080_C4580_C5180_C5180i_C5185_C5185_PRO_C5185i/color_imagerunner_c4080#DriversAndSoftware

Pick the OS you're using and look for the setup installer ( usually a large file, has other copiers along with yours). Run it, follow instructions, and will it try to find the IP address of the copier. If it does, it should come up with the address of the data list. Hope this gets you in the right direction.

I have installed a PR 180 at the top of the basement stars to turn on the light when someone enters, and a normal 3 way switch at the bottom. The idea was the lights come on when you step into the...

While there are many ways to wire 3-way switches, the most common way is to bring a 2-wire/with ground HOT and neutral cable (from circuit breaker or source) into one switch box and a 2-wire/with ground LOAD cable (to light) into the other switch box. Then a 3-wire/with ground cable is ran between both switch boxes.

The PR 180 _must_ be installed at the switch box the has the cable that goes to the LOAD. I suspect that you have the PR 180 installed in the switch box that contains the HOT feed.

Unfortunately, the solution is to install the PR 180 at the downstairs location and have the normal 3-way switch at the top.

Another solution would be to install a Leviton 1PP15-1L at the switch box that has the HOT feed and a Leviton 1PP0R-1L at the switch box the has the LOAD cable. This, of course will result in a sensor at each location.

Unlock scanner keeps appearing on my lexmark x85 printer

Go to the Lexmark web site here: http://support.lexmark.com/perl/support/support.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:0:0:0
- In the SEARCH BY MODEL box, type in X85 and click SEARCH
- In the SEARCH THE KNOWLEDGBASE box, type in UNLOCK SCANNER. It will show some instructions for the X83, but that was the little brother of the X85, so should work.
