I have a samsung highlight an i want to put a diffrent sim card in it but when i turn it on it says sim unathorized how can i fix this

Method 1:

1 - Switch ON your Samsung SGH-T749 Highlight with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Samsung SGH-T749 Highlight will ask for "Password".
3 - Enter the Unlock Code.

Method 2:

hi :) cause the sim card are diffrent country,your software was in diffrent country version. so made it phone cant read the card. u can reload the phone software to use the simcard. other way,just just buy another phone.

Well it doesn't block your card, it just blocks your sim card, If you will try a diffrent SIM in your phone that will work and if you want your sim to unlock than contact your Connection service provider means the company from you have you phone connection and you need to give them your sim no, which wouldb located at the back of your SIM and they will provide you with your PUK no for the SIM card.

try putting the o2 card in, works with d500 on virgin

.here is the definitive fix for the "show my number syndrome" is a known fault with the Samsung G600 software. What you need to do is, borrow another sim card for the provider you are with and put it in the handset, run through the welcome sequence, save and switch off.
Then put your own sim card into the handset and repeat the welcome procedure, the show my number will now be set on default..

take the phone to a back street mobile shop and have the phone unlock and reset this dhould only cost around £20 pound and check a diffrent sim card in the phone

1.Sometime due to bad antena, the signal receiving power goes bad, to confirm this, try another sim card in ur handset.So go to service centre to repaire or change the antena of ur handset.

2. Select network manually.

3.Try once ur sim card in diffrent area and in diffrent handset.
