I am using D101 intel board but when I install windows 7 or windows vista the hanging problem starts with these operating system.I have 1.50 GB of RAM too.Kindly suggest what to do.

you are detecting a known problem for 32 bit operating systems.
The problem for those system is that they can manage maximum 3 Gb of RAM.
If you want all of your RAM used you have to install a 64 bit operating system. Windows 7 has also a version for 64 bit as well as windows xp (but is not good supported) and windows vista.

try another driver for lan card in windows xp

For Windows Vista to work : It requires minimum 2.0 ghz processor, 1 gb RAM and 60-80GB hard disk.

For Windows 7 : It requires minimum processor 3.0 ghz, 1 gb RAM and 60-80 GB hard disk.


Otherwise, your operating system or hardware problem will occur.

check for the win 7 drivers , run in safe mode and restore to early point, and install one by one the drivers, download registry cleaner reg in out to clean registry errors

mostly all drivers will get through updation of windows 7. if its not solved. then go to intel website. find your specific model no to download latest drivers.

It is probably because your internet connection is slow or you lack bandwidth. You have a fast computer and if you've wiped the hard drive and reinstalled windows then its unlikely that it is a windows problem. Also if you're using a modem instead of a dedicated connection they do tend to be rather slow managing only up to 56k per second.

Many Mother boards require a BIOS update to work with Vista. Check for a newer BIOS.
