Your phone likely to be offline mode automatically when it might not have detected your SIM Card. the Sim may not have been place in well. off your phone and check the SIM if it was properly inserted. on it again and your nokia cell phone will ask you if you still want to continue in offline mode? click no. and the offline settings will change. Hope this solution works for you.
Please press the power off button a little to enter profiles menu, in that you have general, silent etc select those, this will put you online, also accept the notice as yes on the screen.
The easiest way is to take your battery out with your phone still on and leave battery out for about 10 seconds and then replace battery and prompt will come up asking if you still want to use phone in offline mode and check NO and it should be reset.

where did you bought your phone? if you bought it from a telecom's promo it means that your phone is locked to a single network provided only. you can ask a technician to have your phone OPENLINE for you to be able to use any kinds of sims.
if it's not the case, check the slot for sim and make sure that the sim is properly placed. restart it without the sim and then restart again but now with the sim.
