KV-36XBR450 CANNOT ADJUST COLOR

THE COLOR CANNOT BE ADJUSTED VIA THE REMOTE. IT STAYS BROWN - ALTHOUGH PICTURE IS SHARP. SOMEHOW IT HAS LOST THE NATURAL COLOR. ANY SOLUTION TO THIS PRBLEM?

This sounds like you might of lost one of the colors of the crt. I would suggest that you take to a repair shop.

you have a FLASH BACK problem.. just replace FLASH BACK and POWER SUPPLY BOARD and your good to go..

My sony kv-36xbr450 quit responding to the remote (rm-y184). I put new batteries and the remote lights work when pushing buttons. Is there a way to reset or check the remote ?
it is most likely the remote receiver inside the tv. you can verify this by using a universal remote. if you cant get it to work the receiver is bad.

You can change Brightness, Color * Sharpness settings in Menu.
Push Menu button on remote and go to Picture settings and select Personal/ Custom settings and enjoy.
