I have already consulted the user manual. My problem is that the incline % display suddenly said OFF after having worked normally. There's nothing mentioned in the manual how this can be solved.
Thanks,

By increasing the incline level on the treadmill, you will increase the number of calories burned during your workouts. Incline training works the leg muscles differently and more efficiently than training on a level surface. Incline training provides a great cardiovascular workout without having to increase speed.
It might just need a simple adjustment of the running belt that can eliminate the slipping refer to you owner's manual for the procedure. It will be close to all treadmill adjustments.
Here is a generic procedure for adjusting the belt:
If the walking belt slips when walked on. Run the treadmill @ 3 to 4 mph, walk for a few minutes, Using the allen wrench, turn both rear roller adjustment bolts clockwise, 1/4 of a turn. Then repeat adjusting procedure until walking belt is properly tightened.
You have to 'RECALIBRATE" the treadmill. This happens to my F3 all the time and it is very frustrating. Evidently there is no "fix" except to "RECALIBRATE.".
Here is how to do it (pay close attention because it gets TRICKY!):
1) Turn "ON" the treadmill;
2) Press the "RESET" button;
3) Here is where it gets tricky:
After you press the "RESET' button "PLEASE WAIT" or "WAIT" comes on;
As soon as the screen goes "BLANK" but before "SELECT PROGRAM" appears, hold the "PAUSE" button down until "DIAGNOSTICS" appears.
(I told you that was tricky... so after you press "RESET"... 'PLEASE WAIT" will come on... as soon as the screen goes "BLANK" you must hold the 'PAUSE' button before "SELECT PROGRAM" comes on. If "SELECT PROGRAM": comes on you have pressed and held "PAUSE" TOO LATE! You must time it right between 'PLEASE WAIT" and "SELECT PROGRAM" when the screen is BLANK. Why LifeFitness made this so difficult is a MYSTERY!!!!)
OKAY... TO CONTINUE...
4) After "DIAGNOSTICS" appears, use the arrows to scroll to "CALIBRATION."
5) Then press the 'START" button (make sure it's the SILVER not the black START button!)
6) The treadmill will then automatically cycle through a series of tests including speed and incline adjustments in order to complete the "CALIBRATION."
7) When successfully completed, the console will display: "PASS"
8) YOU'RE DONE! And your incline should work now. You may have to TURN OFF the treadmill and TURN it back "ON" so that you can resume using the treadmill.
Hope this helps! Once again... LifeFitness should have made this 'RECALIBRATION" much simpler!
Good luck! It's very hard the first time... but once you do it a few times, it gets easier!
First, check and make sure the safety magnet is in the correct place. If not, place magnet. If it is, then the safety magnet sensor, sensor cable, or the console is messing up.
