Hi- My Keurig has not been working correctly. When I start to brew, it hesitates and water empties into the water container through the little spout. Very little coffee comes out. Eventually I can make a fuul cup by pinching the spout to stop the water and pushing brew button again. Any suggestions??

SOURCE: leaks at the hot water spout during coffee brew

I had the same problem. I ended up taking the coffee machine apart and found that the reason coffee trickles out around the hot water spout is that the two coffee nozzles were partially plugged. Since I Had parts of the coffee machine apart I was able to clean it easily. It may also be possible to clean the assembly using a pick of some sort and clean out the holes of the two normal coffee spouts. Inside it is just a open cavity so gentle poking around and using some steaming hot water may do the trick.
If you want to take the machine apart you need to do the following: 1) take of the warmer plate on the top - 2 storz screws but an allen key works as well 2) take off the top plate of the machine - another 4 or 5 screws - make sure you empty the beans first otherwise you will have a mess 3) remove one screw from the right hand side of the removable coffee ground tray. Once this screw is removed the front panel is free to swing open except for the pipes connecting the front 4) unclip the steam assembly - there are a couple of plastic catches on the top. this will free the steam assembly from the front panel and also free a pipe connections. The steam dispenser pipe will also come free from the steam assembly. 5) remove the coffee pipes from the up and down sliding coffee dispenser. This is a small whitish color clip with 2 pipes connecting into it. The white clip has a little plastic catch on the top that frees it. The front panel should now swing open freely. 6) remove the sliding coffee dispenser from the front door. There are 4 plastic catches, 2 on either side. the whole front sliding coffee displenser now comes free 7) Take the sliding dispenser apart by release the 4 plastic catches on the front curved planel. 8) Inside the sliding dispenser is a white plastic piece that connected to the piping released in step 5. There is a small plastic catch that needs to be pressed while pulling fairly hard on the plastic piece and bending the whole piece. 9) You will now see the plugged spouts. It goes back together really easily.

SOURCE: How do you turn on a Keurig to get a cup of coffee

I know on mine I have to open and close the chamber where I put my coffee. It then blinks ready and I press the size cup I want to brew. Hope this helps! :) And sometimes if there isn't enough water in the reservoir it won't brew so try and putting more than just a cup's worth of water in it :)

SOURCE: My Keurig B60 is Suddenly Brewing WEAK Coffee

I don't have a solution but have just experienced the same problem and am baffled. I am using the same beans same grind. In fact using the exact same grind it went from great one day to weak the next day.  I always run it for 15 - 16 secs to get the shot and that hasn't changed. Pressure and temperature appear fine. I cleaned the top of the top filter which was a little dirty but not seriously bad - no change. The coffee flow which is normally chocolate coloured to start with is just mid brown.

SOURCE: my k cup reusable coffee

I had the same issue and found a **** fix that is working well. The issue is that the hole in the my-kcup doesn't seal to the machine so I take a square of foil and put it over the top of the closed my-kcup assembly, crimping it under the rim of the cap. This seals the assembly and forces the water through the my-kcup. It also makes a better cup of coffee because the water is all going through the grounds.

I have the Keuirg mini plus and i just opened it. It flashes red like it is heating and then just turns off. No brewing.

Same here. (I have the Mini Plus B31) Called Keurig and these are the steps they walked me through. Not sure which part actually fixed the problem, but it worked.

1. Turn off machine. Using a paperclip clean out the holes in the needles (3 in the top, one in the bottom of the k-cup holder).

2. If water is inside the heating core (assuming it is as nothing happened when you tried to brew), with the machine turned off, press and hold the brew button. After 5 seconds the pump will kick on and discharge the water. Make sure you have a cup in place to catch the water.

3. Dispose of that water.

4. Unplug the machine.

5. Wait 5 seconds.

6. Plug machine back in.

7. Turn on.

8. Run empty cycle without a k-cup and only use the minimum amount of water (6 oz).

9. Dispose of that water after it brews (hopefully).
If still nothing is happening, call Keurig.

10. Brew your coffee, tea, choco, etc.

Note: was told by Keurig rep that whenever you use hot chocolate, to run an empty rinse cycle afterwards before brewing another cup. This will help prevent any choco from going up inside the machine and possibily blocking the water flow.

Hope it works! Mine did after following these instructions. The rep also wanted me to measure the amount of water that came out afterwards. Not sure what the next step would be because my call got dropped, but the machine works. Sipping on a cup now...

My keurig machine is brewing only a little water and sometimes not working at all. slow brewing time. just started. no problems yesterday

mcdevito75 here, You may need to clean the machine. water used to make coffee leaves deposits in the brewing holes and has to be cleaned out. Refer to the owners manual on cleaning.

B70 says it is brewing. Hear it draw water but it

on my fourth machine...just call keurig...they will replace it. THEN use only bottled drinking water (buy at store buy the gallon). I have done this for over a year now without any problems. Apparently my water had some hardness to it that plugged the line internally. My machine would draw a little water and no water would come out and the default cup size was set to large and could not change. I guess because the internal resivour (sp) was already full and there is no way to empty it.

It is stuck on large and does not brew

My keurig did the exact same thing. Stuck on large and wasn't pulling water into coffee maker so it would only dispense a small amt of coffee. I turned it off for about 10 mins. Emptied the reservoir and filled it half way with white vinegar. Ran several cups through and after 2nd brew it ran faster and after the 3rd run with vinegar all the size cup lights came back on. It is working great now. Just empty reservoir with remaining vinegar and rinse. Run a couple cycles of plain water through the coffee maker to rinse out vinegar. I hope this works for you.

My brewer will not let me change the brew size.

I had the same problem, contacted Keurig and they suggested the descale procedure, which did not work. I was able to resolve the problem however.
First I went through a gallon of white vinegar, without results. Then I did the following:
Went to Walmart and bought "Brew Rite". Tried 8 cup mixture (8 cups of water, two tablespoons of mix), did not work. Being persistant, put in another 8 cup mixture, and when the reservoir emptied of the mix I unplugged it and let it sit 2 hours with the mix in it and then put in clear water. By the time I got half way through with the clear water, the device started working properly, no problems since.
