We had a power outage and now our Maytage Gemeni stove won't go back on. Can't test the outlet, of course, since it's that weird huge plug, but all the other electricity is fine. The oven is completely dead. Help, please!

Hi!!
Check breaker box for a tripped Double Breaker, probably 30A, If breakers are OK, unplug unit from wall outlet and wait 15 min. to reset the control board, plug unit it back up and check Range. You can check for power at the outlet using a voltmeter set on the AC mode.
Keep me posted!!

My ge stove is beeping and says bad line I unplugged and plugged it back in and still does it

If your GE stove is beeping and displaying the message "bad line," it typically indicates an issue with the electrical power supply. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the problem:
  1. Check the Power Supply: Ensure that the stove is properly plugged into a functioning power outlet. Verify that there is no issue with the circuit breaker or fuse that supplies power to the stove. You may need to reset the circuit breaker or replace a blown fuse if necessary.
  2. Inspect the Power Cord: Examine the power cord for any signs of damage, such as cuts, fraying, or exposed wires. If you notice any issues, it's advisable to replace the power cord with a new one to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  3. Test the Outlet: If possible, try plugging the stove into a different power outlet to see if the "bad line" message persists. This step helps determine if the issue lies with the stove or the electrical supply in your home.
  4. Contact a Professional: If the problem persists or if you are unsure about performing further troubleshooting steps, it's recommended to contact a qualified appliance repair technician. They can diagnose the specific issue with your GE stove and provide the necessary repairs or replacements.

F9 error message after power outage

The F9 is a door lock latch circuit problem, either the motor latch or the control/power supply board will need to be replaced.

Viore tv won't power up after power outage.

I would first test the outlet. Unplug the TV and plug in your vacuum or other loud or bright object. Turn on test object - if there is no operation, then you have a tripped circuit breaker. Find the electrical panel ( Grey box mounted into a wall, usually in a closet). Find the tripped breaker ( typically the switch will be halfway between on and off, and many have a red indicator by the switch base). Turn switch to off fully, then back to on.
Retest outlet.
If still no power to outlet, unplug everything from that outlet and call an electrician - there may be a serious problem with the wiring!
Hope this helps!!

Have you tried unplugging the TV from the wall for 5 minutes?

Also have you tried plugging something else into the outlet to verify that the outlet works?

Electrical power is off on my Hotpoint 183D6027G069, even though power is on for all other appliances and all circuit breakers checked normal.

I'm guessing this is a gas / propane stove - so the power is likely 120v if in N. America. If this is the case, I would unplug the stove and plug it into another outlet. If none is close enough, you should be able to run an extension cord to determine if it is an outlet or stove problem.

The 120v is needed on gas stoves mostly for lights, electronics, clock, ignitors, etc. It is not for heating / cook of foods so a decent cord should be fine to use. If it still refuses to function on a known to be good outlet, the power outage you had has caused a problem in the stove and will likely require service.

My Insignia NS-LCD32 TV won't power on. The remote has good batteries, the outlet has power etc. Insignia says to unplug it it for a few seconds and then plug it back in. I tried that multiple times w

The power surges have probably blown the fuse in the power supply board. This may not be the only problem. If you are still under warranty, you will need to have it serviced at a service center. If not You will need to find a repair person or center to open the unit and test it for you. This television and all your electronic equipment should be protected with surge protectors. The reason is your power company has problem with power outages and this will damage your equipment. There is no built in self defense for this equipment due to the huge variants involved with power companies. You should call Insignia and ask them where you can find a authorized service center. You can call the Insignia customer support at this telephone number 1-877-467-4289. Tell them the model number of your television and the problem you have had with its failure to turn on.They will be able to help you find a service center to test and repair your television. I hope this information helps you with your problem.
