Someone has accidentally pressed some buttons and locked you into test mode. To get out of it you need to press start, the display should go daft. Press start again and the display should settle down. Now press the on/off button and the start button at the same time and hold them down for a few seconds until the display shows d-end or d-off. Your machine should now work.
My list for nearly all of the Indesit (Hotpoint, Ariston) washers suggests there is a fault with the motor triac, the bit that controls the motor speed, sorry ;-0(
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

F08: Heater control or NTC (Thermistor) temperature sensor problem. hope this helps. also turning off at plug for 5 mins then turning back on might solve it if does not then it is the sensor problem. best thing to call engineer or get new machine if dose not work. hope this helps.
List of the
Error Codes I found on another site. I'm getting f04 light 2 (the "wash" light). Looks like you've got the opposite problem with your pressure switch stuck on full (f05).
F02 and F08 are 2 completely unrelated problems.
F02 indicates motor problem, and F08 indicates a problem with the heater circuit, the relay is not energising, possibly due to a faulty heater or themistor.
Would advise you call a qualified repair technician.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
