Something has failed inside, and it should not be connected to power until professionally serviced. It will in all likelihood not be worth repairing - when compared to the cost of a new replacement.

If you do replace it - cut the cord off close to the iron to discourage connecting to power again. Good luck.

I would say you throw it away and buy a new one. The heating element probably shorted out, overheated and is burned out. Too expensive and not worth the effort to repair.....

Auto Shut Off is causing the iron to not heat up

Try cleaning the lime out of the steam system. Lime buildup may be interfering with thermostat. Most likely is thermostat is wrong/broke and you should consider just buying a new one

Iron shut off; will not go back on

There is a thermal fuse in the iron which blows when overheated. This fuse has to be replaced.

You can probably find one on-line at radioshack.com -- match the temperature rating of the old fuse. It'll have to be crimped in -- if you solder it, the heat will blow it.

Sunbeam 4267-000 not turning on just blinking red

"FF" or a blinking light will display meaning “Fault Found”. The “fault” is in the amount of power available to the blanket, mattress pad or throw.
There are several causes to this problem:
1. Bedding product is plugged into an extension cord, surge protector, power strip, or not plugged into a direct wall outlet.
2. Bedding product wasn't plugged in properly.

To FIX this problem, do the following to reset your bedding product:
1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection.
2. Unplug the cord from the actual bedding product itself.
3. Re-plug the cord into the bedding product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete.
4. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet.

If the 4 steps above are not followed in order, the bedding product will not properly reset.

Not heating

The thermal cutoff device blew and must be replaced. It acts like a fuse when the iron gets too hot. Thay are very
cheap and it would be well worth replacing. Hope this was helpful.
