try this I know its a little annoying but its useful trust me. The orange light usually means a problem with the power supply. This means WORST CARE SCENARIO you have to replace the power brick but you 99% dont have to get a new xbox. http://support.xbox.com/en-us/pages/xbox-360/troubleshoot/hardware/power.aspx cheers!
Here are the things you can do to solve the problem.
1. On the front of the controller and the system there is a little button you can press that can connect to each other for you to play.
2. Make sure that the batteries are properly placed inside the battery pack under the controller.
3. Make sure the batteries are not dead.
I know this is not much but I hope this information helps you.
i dont really know why it is not playing because i got a x box 360 pro and i got assassin's creed 2 and it work just fine so go to game stop and ask them why its not working. :(
it could have destroyed the hardware in the powerbrick which sense its broken it restricts all power going to the 360. try sending it bac 2 microsoft if its still under warrenty. if not then u will have 2 buy a new 1.
