Perform fuser cleaning procedure. If not helpful, replace the hot fuser roller. When worn out it collects toner and may lead to repetitive image.

When I open the toolbox for the LaserJet 2600n printer, it tells the website is not available. I need to clean the jets etc.

You need not to clean laser printer cartridges,it may color or mono. Print cartridges them selves having cleaning blade to clean the surface of the OPC drum every time when its initializing or printing. If you found any vertical tracks on print outs replace the particular cartridge.. If you have any kind of print quality issue,perform calibrate process through printer menu..quality..calibrating.. even if you found quality issue clean the Laser scanner assm.(professionals only can do)

HP LaserJet 1022 cold reset procedure To cold reset the printer, perform the following steps:

Power off the printer.
Power on the printer while depressing both the Go and Cancel buttons. Keep the buttons depressed. The lights will begin to flash in sequence.
Release the buttons when all three lights begin to flash in unison.

My printer 2605 laserjet prints a black shadow on the letters in the vertical line of the document

calibrate the printer 5 times ur problem will be resolved if not then cold reset the printer.for cold reset switch on the printer & press the green button before counting the memory when all three lights glow at a time then release the button & select the cold reset option by up-down arrow then enter ur problem will be resolved..............

My black toner said it needed to be replaced, so I did. Now the printer will not work and says all other 3 colors must be replaced. Is there a way to reset this? Or if need be, can I just print in black?

try to reset the printer on factory setting /cold reset
off the printer then on before start counting the memeor press & hole the go button untill all lishta glow simualtaniously release the button you have to select the cold reset on lcd by the up/dn arrow then pres the go button it starts the cold reset if problem remain same pls replace all the tooners ur printer works fine .......................

To perform a cold reset
1 Turn the MFP off and then on.
2 When the memory count appears on the control-panel display, press and hold 6 until all three
LEDs flash once and then stay on. This might take up to 20 seconds.
3 Press 3 four times until COLD RESET appears on the control-panel display.
4 Press 6 one time. The MFP continues its initialization sequence.

Where is the CMOS battery for the HP 2600n?

there is not such as thing as CMOS battery inside of this printer mate. You can do only "cold reset"

1 Use the ( LEFT ARROW) or the (RIGHT ARROW) button to select Service, and then press (SELECT).

2 Use the (LEFT ARROW) or the (RIGHT ARROW) button to select Restore defaults, and then press (SELECT). The device automatically
restarts.

Just install 2600n manually and define as USB Virtual printer port!!!

HP Color LaserJet 2600n Print Queue failure

Sounds like low toner to me. If the printer is connected by USB or parallel cable to one computer, go to that one. Click start-programs-HewlettPackard-HPlaserjet utility. The utility should let you see how much of each toner color remains.

Configure device menu The Configure device menu makes it possible to change the printer's default print settings, adjust the print quality, change the system's configuration and I/O options, and reset the printer's default settings RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS :Makes it possible to clear the page buffer, remove all perishable personality data, reset the printing environment, and return all default settings to factory defaults. Press Menu or (Select) to enter the MENUS.

Press (Down Arrow) to highlight Configure device menu .
Press (Select) to select Configure device menu
Press (down arrow) to System setup menu
Press (select) System setup menu
Press (select) Resets menu
Select RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS.
