I can't find a universal remote to work with my new Dynex 32" Flat Panel I purchased at BestBuy. I want to use one remote for my Direct TV receive and Dynext. The staff at BestBuy suggested I buy a $25 Sony Universal Remote saying it could be programmed for the Dynex and Direct TV. Doesn't work. Really frustrated!!! Where can I find reliable remote codes that will work for the Dynex . . . can't find that model listed anywhere.
Try using the codes listed for Orion products. Worked for me.
I went to the DYNEX site and may have found the code, it says LCD TV and I thought it should say HD TV 32". I'll try it, though.

This fixed my problem between the direct TV remote and my 42 inch DYNEX plasma. There are codes for different models as well.

I have the same problem with compatibilty between a 42 inch plasma Dynex and direct TV. I wish the sales person at Best Buy would have known this and told us. We may have purchased a diffferent model instead.
