Look inside the file you downloaded there may be a read me... or you
may have to buy the key from Microsoft... it was a "free download" not a free
program. There is a differance.

You can get a free trial from this site: http://www.freedownloads.be/downloaddetail/1897-Microsoft-Office-2007-Trial-Version Once trial version is up you will have to pay for it or uninstall it.
Or if you want a full version for free i dont think your gonna get one, you could try OpenOffice its a free office program, and you can open your old microsoft office documents with it. you can get this from: http://www.openoffice.org/

Download the trial, if you have a legit product key from the Office website then put in the Key when it asks for one. The trial is again on the office website.
