Kenmore refrigerator leak

ok,1st check on fridge side toward upper back of the top and feel for air coming thru, and there is another one down possibly behind crisper .I had this same deal. Had to do total defrost,, put food in cooler,, theres two blower fans in these types of fridges,,one in the bottom back,, and one in the back of the frezzer,, I used an old hair dryer and let it blow warm to top interior of frezzer,, careful not to let any cords hang/drop in any water!!,ok once done dry out as much water as possible, turn fridge on set both controls to 4,when fridge kicks on do the feel test,, you may need to close the frezzer door, air should be felt near top inside of fridge,if so than shut fridge side and feel inside frezzer near bottom and air should be felt,, side-by-side need to circulate air from frezzer to fridge, then back to frezzer

the drain in the freezer is clog make sure the drain from the freezer is clean all the way to the pan next to the compressor . you need to open the back wall of your freezer for that ( the inside wall) clean with buster (water pump)the drain is in the bottom middle of the freeze.

Your refrigerator has a defrost drain blockage behind the evaporator in your your freezer compartment. Some models like yours have leak in the turns as the water leaves the freezer. I recommend that you unplug and remove the cover to the evaporator and check the defrost condensate tray below the evaporator. A wet vacuum cleaner and poring a solution with clorox in the drain will help you clean locate the leak and where the blockage may be downline.. I do have the manual on yours and can help you solve this. Some times this is a factory defect and I can help you solve the freezing drain problem. Let me know, Sea Breeze

in the back of the fridge you have a hose going to the bottom , take everything from inside of the fresh food compartment and blow in the hose and after voila problem solved

During the defrost cycle heaters inside the walls of the freezer turn on to melt the frost. The melted frost "water" is supposed to drain into a pan under the fridge where it will evaporate. I think the drain line from the freezer to this pan may be blocked. I'd also check the seal on the freezer door. If it's not sealing well it lets a lot of moisture into the freezer which means more water during the defrost cycle. I'd also recommend checking to make sure the ice maker is not leaking.

When your refrigerator defrost the condensation has no place to exit to because of a restriction in the drain and that could be water that has turned into ice or possiably a food partical or foreign object. Defrost it compleatly by leaving freezer door open for aprox. an hour at least make sure ref is level front to back an d you should not have this problem anymore. IT SEEMS LIKE YOU HAVE A CLOGGED DRAIN . CHECK YOUR CONDECER COILS BEHIND KICK PLATE .. AFTER THAT YOU CAN UNPLUG FRIDGE FOR 24 HRS WITH DOORS OPEN AND SOULD DEFROST ENOUGH TO CLEAR DRAIN . IF NOT . DEPENDING ON MODEL YOU SOULD BE ABLE TO GET THROUGH DRAIN THROUGH MOST FREEZERS .

You might have a defrost timer issue

sorry to say this but the mother board has took a hit replace this and all will be well
