Regarding i850 i bought this i850 from ebay and when i got it. It had a subsidy lock on it and i called nextel to get the code but they wont unlock and wont tell me why. Is there anyway you can help me.....

You can call the service provider and get the Unlock code and Unlock it.

The code is a subsidy lock... it can be removed by your local cell phone repair center...It is usually not User removable because it requires special software

You will need contact Nextel to get the subsidy unlock code to use your phone internationally or on another network. They can walk you through how to enter the code in properly.

The phone has to be active and you'll need to call Nextel Care and ask them for the PUK. They should be able to walk you through a series of button pushes that will allow you to enter the PUK code and change the code to something you want.

the nextel is on whats called an IDEN network and tmobile is on a GSM network two very different systems. you can get a unlock code for the nextel phone but you'll still run into problems using those two combinations.

Sorry there are no subsidy codes for the i850. This means that you have used the wrong type of SIM Card. You can only use a Sprint Nextel or Boost SIM Card in an i850. If you are using a correct SIM card, you will need to have this repaired at a local service center. This is covered completely by Sprint Nextel's ESRP (Equipment Service & Repair Program) and TEP (Total Equipment Protection), and can be done at any Sprint Nextel Service & Repair Location. If you do not subscribe to ESRP or TEP, the charge for the repair will be no more than $55.

if you give me your imei number i should be able to get you the code that overides the code it is asking for but i cant get them for all phones but give me your imei number off the back off your phone this worked on my nokia 6230 so cant see why i cant get the code for your phone aswell alot of people charge for this info but as i dont get charged im not going to star charging people your imei code will look something like 123456/12/123456/0 post back and i will try my best to help you ok.................

To read the code you need speacil software and a cable the software is hard to find.. your best bet is to take it to a service center that can unlock where are you located so I can recommend one
