You really need to be more specific .......Moving? sitting still? engine running? what speed? braking? cold? hot? faster you go it gets worse? better? does it follow the speed of the engine? MPH? doe sit change pitch on/off the gas pedal? turning right or left. change pitch?

Where is the fuel filter located, ona 99 jeep grand cherokee?
Hello,

There are 2 filters.
  1. One is on the end of the pickup tube inside of the gas tank.
  2. The second is in-line, above the front edge of the gas tank, inboard of the frame member. It is part of the fuel regulator/filter assembly.

If you still have a cap rotor and ignition wires, it's inside the distributor. If not, it is the part where the distributor used to be (center rear of the engine behind the intake manifold)

duse the howl go away when you trun a conner ?if it duse its a wheel bearn. as for the squeak its hard to pin point. try finding some one how duse mud run they would be ableto help you with the howl noise. have a nice day

likely pinion bearing or carrier bearings. They howl, characteristically, and the howl changes frequency with speed. Do check the u-joints first, though.
