SOURCE: Bryant A/C issue
IF it has one its usually but not always close to the 2 copper lines on the outdoor unit. BUT not all units have a high pressure reset. LOOK inside the outdoor section for a bare looking copper "wire", It will atach to the smaller copper line comming off thecompressor. If you dont see one it dosnt have one.
If you find it trace it down to the other end and usually has a piece simmlar to a battery sometimes no bigger than a golf ball and the button is usually pointed toward the outside on the other end.
2nd question as far as Im able to tell the fuses (and again it may not require fuses as long as it has a breaker or other means of protection) will be in a usually gr\ay box usually attached to the wall. Trace the wires comming into the unit back to the power source. And generally the box you find on the wall ois where the fuses are. Now this box is only a disconnect and its reason for being is so hyou can remove power from the oudoor section and work on it sepperately. IT MAY NOT HAVE FUSES AND STILL BE APPROPERATE FOR YOUR TYPE OF INSTALLATION as ameans f disconnecting.
SOURCE: Bryant central air unit fan doesn't stop.
This is a condenser fan and as long as the A/c unit is in cool mode, this fan will run. The only time it should shut off is when temperature setting is satified and the unit shuts off.

SOURCE: Is the Bryant 661CJ030-A heat pump single- or multi-stage?
Single stage heat pump. But you must have a two stage tstat for backup electric heat. You single stage cool two stage heat. The second stage brings on the electric heat in case the heat pump can not keep up. Wiring goes r y w1 on most heat pump tstats are switchover valve or o terminal. W2 second stage heat or emergency heat. g is fan c is common terminal.Rus
SOURCE: Bryant-Carrier Furnace Fan Stays On
Hi, you have replaced the stat several times, and adjusted the anticipator so its not the stat. This is a split gas/elect unit, and working on these for many years and looking at some of the solutions given, they are right. You need to be looking at the Furnace fan control.Units of that age they do tend to stick open and run constantly.I doubt its the fan relay, maybe if you were in the cooling mode.Fan controls are not that expensive. You probably have a Honeywell 7" to 11" Probe, with the auto/manual button, with a temp dial to set you're on off temps. I would inspect the heat exchanger for any signs of cracks or bulging being its that old. If you find any, you are looking at carbon monoxided and should be thinking about an upgrade soon. Also flame roll out.I am thinking of you're safety is all.If you do have this type of fan control, there is a tab that has to be cut before you install for 24v. control. It comes set for 120v. and will burn out all of your 24v. componants. Those old Bryants will run for years. Good Luck!
