Put batteries in the outside readers first then in the inside main one and give it time to read. Set the display to the correct time, date and year. Mine read the wind speed first then the temp 5 mins later and finally the humidity about another 10 mins
Hello kauppidk. Both units operate on battery power. That said, whenever you replace batteries in these units it is important to first clean the battery contacts within the units. To do that remove the batteries and gently scrub each contact with the eraser end of a common wooden pencil. Then replace the batteries paying close attention to the polarity [+ and -].
Since your inside unit died I recommend that you start there. Be sure the new batteries are fresh and fully charged. Joe
Thanks for choosing Fixya!
You must move the remote sensor close to the base unit to reset it and it will work fine. After it shows the temp then you can move it back to its location. thanks for asking at Fixya.com.

Well Joe I did as you suggested and that did not work , is there anyway I can tell if the temperature sending unit is actually transmitting a signal??
