The CD I received with my SGH-J600 for installing the USB driver does not work. My screen has died on my phone and I want to retrieve the info stored on there via my computer. How can I install the appropriate usb driver to connect my samsung phone SGH-J600 to my computer?

Try installing the driver in "Compatability Mode" right click the installer and check the compatability mode tab for XP SP2, and always run the installer as administrator too.

When you bought the, did it come with an installation cd?

If yes install cd first on your pc before you can access any file transfer and it will not recognize your cable.

So install your drive of your phone, then your can now transfer your files successfully.

what u have to do is if you got any CD with that insert it in your CD-ROM and run the set up like NOKIA PC SUITE and then import that data cable which you got with your cell phone in USB port and then install through that software which you have installed from your cd it will work might be ...
