First try to arrange Windows Password Seeker or you can download this from internet and then Burn it onto the CD or USB flash drive: It's going to be piece of cake to burn the Windows Password Seeker ISO image file, if you are familiar with burning ISO image file onto CD, DVD, for there's nothing different.

You can reset a lost or forgot Windows password with 4 methods below:
1. Another valid administrator account which can normally log on.
2. A password reset disk or a repair disc, which is created in advance ( before you lost password ).
3. Third-party software to create a bootable password reset CD/DVD or USB, like Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0 .
4. Re-install. Will lose data.

Window Password Unlocker is safe and reliable software which allows you to burn a password reset CD/DVD for Windows 7/Vista/XP, etc. If you forgot windows 7 password, you can reset it in less than 5 minutes, no matter your lost password length and complexity.

Hi there,

HD password are one of the tuffest to work around if doable at all.

The best way would be to contact Acer in order to unlock it, laptop manufacturer always have a master password.

How can I password-protect all files on my laptop?

Hi there.
You can set a bios and hard drive password either by using Acer Empowering Technology application or entering the bios itself by restarting the computer and hit F2 while its just starting up, make sure you keep your password safe because if you forget the the passwords you may find yourself locked out of your own computer and bios passwords are very hard to crack.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

Forget recovery password

You need to remove the cover over the fan assembly, and look over to the side toward the hard drive, and you should see the cmos battery, you don't need to take the machine apart, just reach in with a small screwdriver and keep the battery disconnected for five or so minutes, then after you put the cover back on, the password will be gone

Password on bois

When I lost my windows password, I like to reset Windows Password with Windows Password Reset 9.0 and I think it is excellent and professional!
Once the password is removed, there is no need to type any passwords but to leave it blank, and click the user name to instantly log on Windows.
