Just replace a Ford Falcon AU radio with a secondhand unit from the wreckers. Unfortunately the Security code supplied does not work. Supplied Security Code: 1224 Serial Number: 12808261 Model Number: FCT026A1-A WR2A-18B865-DATVE

In order to calculate the code, a SERIAL NUMBER will be required.

This will be found on a label on the radio casing

It normally begins with M++++++ (or L or C or V) 

When found , then POST ANOTHER QUESTION quoting this Serial Number and your code will be calculated

Your Ford dealer will supply the radio code (small fee) but you will need to supply the part number and the radio chassis number (ending with a letter) usually 8/9 digits.Removal of radio unit required or a long shot it will be in the service / warrenty documents which came with the car..... Some sites on the web will also supply but it's your choice ! ! !

Search on gumtree.com for radio code, they will email the code from your serial number......I have used them and they are quicker and cheaper than main dealer!
