go to the site of canon and then to the support area. after you have slected your device try to locate the downloads eg 'software' or 'driver' downloads. just install them later on and maybe after a required reboot it'll all work just fine.
if you can't find'em like that than just type something like Canon iP90v driver download in google...
Try sending Canon an email through their support website. I had same problem exactly, mine is 1 year old. They sent out a replacement unit for me today. It's worth a try.
