I have a Samsung BD-P1590 Blu-ray player and I am trying to program my Verizon Fios univeral remote (Phillips RC1445302/OOB) DVD button to operate my Samsung player but none of the Samsung codes under DVD players work on my remote. Can someone give me a code that will work? Thanks. cybear

I have a Samsung BD-P1490. When I turn is on the display reads "Load." It never displays "No Disc", or trys to play a disc if one is present. I have never updated the firm ware. Any ideas?

After reading your post a couple of times, it just seems your are in a little of a pickle here. The only thing I can suggest, since your tv will work with fios and not the your BD player(I assuming your using the same port on the tv with the same hdmi cable), is all about firmware. Maybe your tv is not compatible with the the BD player. Try updating the firmware on the tv.
