Wireless router wont connect

Cant get wireless router to connect with ps3. keep getting message dsn error cant connect with internet.been all the way through set up internet settings about 30 times.internet working on pc.please help its driving me insane.thanks marky c

    no its not that i have same problem,says hexadecimal kinda things when enter the correct wep for laptop so its all sony screw up

Hey mentalmc,

I had this problem at least once a month. Try these things out.
1. Make sure any WEP codes are entered EXACTLY as it is for your router.
2. Set up your router so only your PC connected to it can change any settings.
3. Turn off your PC while trying to connect via PS3 WiFi. The good ole Win update likes to download without you knowing it sometimes.
4. If all else fails, call Sony cause you may have a bad WiFi antenna or motherboard.

try to pwer cell the router basically thats unplug ur ps3 then unplug the router followed by the modem then plug in, in reverse order ie modem first if u know the error code that will help btw if u know anything about ps3 error 80710102 dsn error can u message me back

Check to see if your router has backwards compatibility to wireless G because the N router uses 256bit encryption coding while the G uses 128 bit encoding. PS3,and PSP use the 128 encryption coding also. If the router does not support 128 bit encoding you will never connect with it.

get your router name and go through manual setup, your brother may have accedentally made your wireless network hidden, to change that go to http://192.168.1.1 or .0.1 and log in and chang the settings to default

Dns error 80710102
try mving your ps3 around into verous places around the room and try to find an internet connecion. you can go to settings, network settings, then settings and connection status list and it will show you how much internet you have.
