Watching movies through USB problem

Hello,
I have a Panasonic SA-PT850. It has an USB, so I often watch movies through it. I transfer a movie to my Corsair Flash Voyager GT 16GB, but sometimes there is a "lag" when watching movies. Frames become very low. I have been told, that it is because of my USB, it happens when the USB is to slow, but Corsair Flash Voyager GT is one of fastest USB flash drives! Why do I have those "lags"?"

SOURCE: no sound through Panasonic SA-HT930 surround system

I've had similar problems in the past. With audio problems trace the problem from the source to the amp.

1. What output is the cable box using for audio, digital or analog?
2. Is there a setting in the cable box to switch between digital and analog?
3. Once you have determined the output of the cable box check to make sure that it's going into the right output on the panasonic
4. This is where the problem usually is...what is the receiver expecting for sound, analog or digital?
5. Switching between the sources...the sound should be on one of them.

SOURCE: panasonic sa-ht700

Usually problems that start "out of the blue" after being powered-up for hours, caused by heat building up are due to things inside getting hotter and hotter until they fail. Unless something actually burns up, this is a reversible problem. Shut it down to allow it to cool off, and it works again. I own a SA-HT700. After 24 hours or so of being powered-on. it starts making a loud rumbling noise. Turning it off for 20 minutes fixes the problem. There's a fan on the back of the unit. It does not work. The heat sinks inside my unit are not covered with dust - suggesting the fan has never worked. I rigged an external DC supply to the 12V fan, so now the fan runs all the time. I am waiting to see if this fixes the problem.

I have a Panasonic SA-PT670 with an XBox 360 connected to it. This is how I configured my system for full 5.1 audio. I'm running an HDMI cable from the XBox to to the TV. I use a USB when watching movies. The movie I was watching tonight did not finish, the screen went black at around 01:28:05 and restarted from the beginning, why did that happen?

It doesnt really matter as of how many movies are there in the USB. There is a chance that the movie might be corrupted. Just check it in your computer and see. The movie file itself must have been corrupted.

Yes, I know Panasonic DVD S48, if your movie file is right divx avi movie file, you can directly transfer the divx avi movie file to your usb disk and play on your Panasonic DVD S48, but if your movie files isn\'t divx avi movie file, you have to use a right software to convert your movies to right divx avi movies, then transfer to your usb disk, convert any movies to divx avi movies.

Ayaw kasi akong bili ng psp ng parent ko eh gusto kong magkaron psp eh pwede nyo po ba akong bigyan ng psp? pls....

Hahahaha... You know baby, mag-aral ka muna. Saka na 'yang PSP. It doesn't mean na kasi hindi ka binigyan ng parent mo, hindi ka na nila mahal. First things first, study and study hard. Malay mo pag nasa honor roll ka, iri-reward nila sa'yo ay isang Piano Black PSP.
My two kids owns PSP, tig-iisa sila actually. Pero, you know what, they're not really fond of it kasi mas gusto nilang manood nga movies. In fact they have watched more than 10 times the "Rio" movie. I am not saying na ibibigay ko sa'yo yon PSP nila kasi hindi rin pwede. My point is, there are reasons why hindi gusto ni mommy at daddy na bilhan ka ng PSP. Ask kita, are you a good kid? Kumusta ang grades? Do you have sports like basketball or volleyball or taekwondo? If you're good at those things, you'll see your parents happy. If they are happy, they will feel proud para sa'yo.
Try mo kayang mag taekwondo, mas magugustuhan mo yon kaysa sa PSP... Magsasawa ka rin doon...

Need Help

Sounds like you have a loose cable. Check that the connection is really in well. If the problem continues I would get a new set of cables, especially if you are using the ones that came with the receiver or dvd player.
