Sony KDL-52XBR9 has 4 horizontal lines approx 6 inches apart and blurring for first 5 - 10 minutes of use, then goes to normal picture. Picture looks to be divided into 5 sections horizontally.

I have the same problem on the Sony Bravia KDL-52Z5100.
It is due to TAB problem of the LCD panel mentioned in
www.youtube.com/watch?v=zW998RTAq-0&feature=related
Not T-Con or main board problem.
I brought my TV to? AGITECH agitech.ca/lcd-repair-services.htm
and they replaced the TAB.
Now the problem is fixed and I am very happy.
You can find more information (price, etc) in
web1.toshiba.ca.agitech.ca/tv_lcd_repair/link_02.php
(Toshiba Canada use their service)

Hello, not 100% certain what your issue is. But, try out a company named ShopJimmy.com for parts. They have been great with me in the past. I included a link to your model page from their site. Hope that helps!

Model# kdl-40w4100 Serial # 8051767 2 years old Horizontal lines in 4.5 inch blocks at the top of the screen

I have the same tv model KDL-40W4100 and around the same age. At the moment I have 16 of
these horizontal lines over the entire screen and they seem to be grouped into 2 lines per row. They are also around 4 inches and two pixel rows high. I have been looking over the Internet for months and found nothing to troubleshooting this issues. In the last few weeks more and more of these groups of lines have been showing up and now i am up to 16 of them and it is becoming unwatchable. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. I also attached a picture to describe it better. Thanks!

Geforce 3 analog output: I have horizontal, blurred/faint lines scrolling from bottom to top of display, spaced 6 inches apart.

what kind of monitor? Have you replaced the cable? Try the pc on another monitor. You need to see if it's actually the monitor or the video card. replace the broken or defective part.
