Most likely the bean is weak. It helps to increase the grade of grinding by the button on the top. If you put it to a finer grade, the coffee will taste stronger. However it can become a little sour.
The amount of powder required depends upon how strong or weak you like your coffee. I would suggest you start with around two thirds of a basket for a full brew and see how you find the flavour. Adjust the amount of powder used according to your taste. More powder = stronger coffee. I can supply a manual if you need it but it doesnt specify an amount of powder to use.
Yes there is a timer located behind a removable plug behind the pot to control how long the valve is open. Simply pop the cover off with a standard bit screwdriver and turn counter clockwise to reduce the amount of water in the pot.
There are a few ways to do this. One would be to add more of the coffee grinds into the tray. Double your amount, you have double the potency. You can also try the energy blend coffee grinds that they sell at your local stores. That gives it an extra kick as well. Also, Brazillian brands and Columbian brand grinds seem to have a little more potency than the rest.
Hi, adjust coffee amount knob more towards +, which will grind more coffee for brewing. The knob is the smaller one inside the bean hopper. If the machine has digital display(Incanto Deluxe) it can be set in the menu.
You can adjust the grind, finer will give you stronger coffee. Think water through sand vs. pebbles. There are also settings you can find in your owners manual for adjusting the length and strength of your "pull".
Try Julius Meinl espresso roast, it's dark, rich and sweet. Definitely my favortie.
The only way to adjust strength of coffee on the Grind&Brew is by changing how much water you use. The container for the beans only holds enough for 10 cups of coffee.
open the door and adjust slide for more grounds, also program prebrewing so it adds a little water to the ground to get them going before the rest of the water is pushed though.
This may help if you have not tried it yet. Adjust the water flow by turning the small knob on the front of the dispenser. the middle setting has a dot. turn full clockwise for stronger full left for weaker.
