Well I hate to be the party popper but...
It sounds like when you changed the parts that you damaged it. When you damage the TV it may appear as red, white, gray, blue, black, or sometimes orange (i think i haven't checked in a while. I would suggest taking it to a professional repair man. This can be pricey but it is my only suggestion at this point.
Best Regards!

Remove the Power Supply cable to Y Main board and check the Vs voltage in Power Supply board.
1. Vs voltage is OK, replace the Logic board or Y Main board.
2. Vs voltage is NG, replace the Power Supply board.

SOURCE: NO VIDEO

I have a Samsung 50" plasma, that has been blacking out over the last 6 months. A 9/2005 set. Now its practically unwatchable as it happens 3 times in an hour. Its not heat related - I have a high volume 9" fan activated on TV power on. Turning the set offf/on usually makes it come back for a now short while. Considering to go put it in the back of my pickup and park it in front of Best Buy and discourage Samsung purchases. This is the 2nd Samsung TV I've purchased (the other a 32" tube) I gave to my folks a couple years ago and its gone bad as well. Samsung product may look good, but their video engineers are not.

SOURCE: screen went black/blank can hear sound no picture,

Your inverter circuits and/or power board need servicing.....

Either three fault scenarios are happening:

1. the inverter circuits are not producing AC ripple too the CCFL lamps that illuminate the LCD glass panel.

2. the power supply board is not feeding 24vdc - 12vdc sustain voltage too the inverter circuits. Meaning, no dc high voltage output from the power board.

3. The timing control circuit (LCD Board) has shorted switching devices or on-board memory has failed....which causes data/dc loss at the input which results in the inverters canceling load power (lamps). The sync data between inverter and LCD Board are absent. This will result in a 'NO LIGHT' condition on the LCD display.

Number 3 is a rare case, its usually #1 the inverters need servicing.....

What part/board should I replace.

-no picture caused by the Y-Sus deflection circuit
-you will need 1ea. Y-Sus Main
-1ea. Y-Driver upper
-1ea. Y-Driver lower
It is best to change these as a set
Part numbers are dependant on the tvs Product Code which on the back of the unit.

58" Samsung plasma has no picture. While I was watching TV, it made a popping sound and went out. I have sound but no picture. Which circuit board should I change?

Unplug it, take the back off and have a look. If something was popping, im sure you will find which board blew out. Make sure you get the full model and serial number so that when you order a replacement, you get the right one.

Green tint in picture

Are the lines completely through the screen or just the upper or lower part of the screen? If through the whole picture, lines in the picture of a plasma can be caused by a defective Main Logic Control board or a bad plasma panel. The panel, if available would be very expensive (cheaper to buy a new TV). If the lines are just on the upper or lower part of the screen then it is the upper or lower scan drive board. Here is a list of the parts for your TV.

Hi, can you help me out with a Sony KDL-32L4000. The TV works perfect but the screen or should I say the picture has a red tint on it from the middle of the screen to the bottom. What can this be. Please...

Hi.

Use different input cables and check using at list two different input devices (eg. a DVD and a receiver box or a playstation, and the internal tuner).

If the problem depends on the device connected or on the cable, then it is either cable, external device, or the terminal connection circuit in the TV, which in this model is integrated with the TV.

Before testing try doing a power reset by disconnecting TV power cord for five minutes.

If the lower part of the display has a red tint or if it is darker, and problem is none of the above, then the TV is defective.

If the lower part of the screen is reddish, and light is normal, then it is probably the main board. Try going to display settings and change from progressive scan to interlaced (eg from 1080p to 1080i, or to 740i). That may bypass the problem in case the fault is related to progressive scan logic circuits in PC board.
If the lower part of display is darker, then it is a back-light problem. In that case parts to be tested are inverter, psu, pc board and display.

Regards.

Ginko.

Have sound but no picture

Hi
A common problem in these TV's are the Y-SUSTAIN board that fails causing the symptoms you are descibing.
Wit the back removed from your TV look across to the left hand side you will see a big rectangular board connected to two smaller boards that connect to the screen.
This board needs to be changed in most cases.
The part numbers are as follow, any of these should do the trick for you.

Google or Ebay for a replacement.

Picture quality

I don't know your model of set very well. I will comment in general. I am assuming your set is using three CRT's for its projection system.

This is normaly a voltage regulation fault. As the CRT's pulls more current, the HV is dropping. A lower anode voltage means lower cathold current. What this does is lower the mass of the electron beam that is hitting the front phosphor in the tubes. Because of the lower electron mass, the deflection yoke has an easier time to pull or deflect the beam for scanning. And, thus the picture appears to increase in size.

If you look at low cost CRT TV sets, it is very common that the raster changes size a little with contrast and brightness change. This is because they use less quality of HV regulation.

Check the main power supply to see if it is stable with wide variation of picture contrast. Also, if you have an HV probe, check to see if the HV at the anodes of the CRT's is stable with changes in the picture contrast and brightness.

If the main power supply is stable, and the anode voltages are changing, then I would try the HV multiplier and flyback assembly.

This can also get a little complicated to troubleshoot. There is some regulation feedback reference from the HV drive that goes back to the HV generator circuit. There may be a fault in this area as well. Where this gets interesting to troubleshoot is where the horizontal scan drive is also the HV drive, as like most common CRT sets.

Some sets use scan compensation to also help for stability. They will control the gain of the scan amplifiers to help stabilize the scanning to make up the error difference in the HV regulation.
