How do i know if my device (jnc ssfm2) is charging? i just see the connect message if i plug it in.Also, windows says it does not recognise the device? help please!

I have only bought my player today so can´t say that this will resolve your issue for certain:-
You could try reinstalling the firmware on the player. My player came with a cd and some tools for firmware upgrade, inc a copy of the firmware.
