Hi! I think the question was How to transfer INTERNAL memory not the MEMORY STICK. The memory stick is easy, you just attach it to the "USB PORT." The thing is without the installer, I can't seem to access the INTERNAL MEMORY through my computer. You can view it through the camera and attach it to a compatible pictbridge printer otherwise it is stuck. I was hopnig you had another option. Please help!

Look im sorry to be so mean. but come on dude... it has a "USB PORT"! you take the memory card out of the camera first, then you plug it(the camera) into the computer and turn it on and it will automatically show up as "Sony MemoryStick" in "my computer" then navigate to the obvious file containing directory. copy and paste them to where you please...

keep in mind you have to be set to "Normal" mode for it to work or you may have trouble. hit the menu button to explore the 3 option menu. you cant get lost.

SOURCE: How to do I transfer pictures from my internal memory to my memory stick?

Without looking for a manual on your camera, normally there is function in your camera menu to copy or transfer over to your memory stick, or maybe you can transfer the picture firstly to your pc(if you have one), then back across to your stick, by simply drag n drop as normal.

Transfer to memory stick

You should be able to go into the menu for the camera, and select memory card for photo storage. You should also be able to preview the images with the memory card in the camera, and have the ability to copy the pictures from internal memory to the memory card.

How do i tranfer pictures from internal to the memory stick on a sony w55 cybershot

Firstly go to Menu and select the appropriate files of pics that you want transferred. Then from the menu select Move. Then specify where you want them moved, ie, the memory card. And the files would be transferred to the memory card and removed from the camera memory. Also, you must set the camera such that in future it stores all pics to the memory card itself.

No.
Take the memory stick out of the camera then connect to the computer. You can then transfer the pictures from the camera to the computer.
Alternatively, use the camera's copy command to copy the pictures from the internal memory to the memory stick.

Transferring pics

No, the camera needs its own power to power the camera's CPU, USB interface and internal memory. It has to have its own power to communicate properly to your laptop.

However if your camera uses a memory card or stick, you can remove the card/stick and plug it into your laptop and retrieve the pictures that way without using your camera.

Good luck!

Auto delete

If you are refering to the pictures you took on the camera before you put in the memory stick, then you took those pictures on the internal camera memory. the camera is set to default on the memory card whenever one is in. To get to the pictures on the internal memory, remove the memory stick and you should be able to view the pictures. To transfer those pictures to your computer follow the steps in the manual, just be sure not to have the memory stick in.
