How does one stream netflix via Blu Ray wired to ISP through a tv?

First you have to hook up network cable to Blue Ray player and to router
Next update software in Blue Ray player by going thru your menu in blue ray player to settings
If you have your blue ray player with Netflix app then all
you do is click on app and log in.
And make sure HDMI cable is plugged into TV.
And that should work for you. Any problems write me back.

When someone else logs onto the internet, it disconnects my blu-ray player from the internet, until they log back off

I personally had a similar situation and I don't know if this will apply to you but when I was connected to my router wirelessly and not hard wired this would happen to me. I had to hook my blu ray player up to the router with an ethernet cable directly and all three computers in the house that are used regularly also. Then when somebody want's to come over and use there laptop through the wireless connection there is no problem. Im not sure if u have other connection options maybe you have the option to hookup your router to blueray player through usb connecton. Try different hookup combinations. You will figure it out. Good Luck.

Belkin wireless network fails to connect with toshiba blu ray

Unplug the router for 10 seconds and again plug in. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve network problems on a Belkin router.

Disable the "Windows Firewall," which might be preventing an outgoing connection. Click the "Start" menu, type "Windows Firewall" and press "Enter." Click "Turn Windows Firewall on or off." Click on "Off." Click "OK."

Make sure the router is connected properly to your modem with an Ethernet cable via the router's "WAN" port on the back.

Follow the simple steps to set up the Belkin wireless router

Hello, the 4 LAN ports on my D-Link router, model DIR-615, don't seem to be working. The lights are not coming on. This is the 1st time I'm trying to use those LAN ports so that I can connect my new...

It probably is your router that is the problem.
Disconnect its AC power, and reconnect it, to "reset" the router.

Also, try connecting your Blu-Ray player directly to your cable-modem (or DSL-modem), bypassing your router. Turn the modem off, and then turn on, and then turn your Blu-Ray player on, and it should be able to connect to the Internet (and NetFlix).

Try a different router.

Hi...I also have a Sharp BD-HP24U. I was having trouble with my Netgear router as well. I wound up downloading the latest firmware update from the Sharp USA website onto a memory stick. Then putting into the USB port in the back of the player, and uploaded. I am now happily streaming Netflix. Hope this helps!

My blu-ray won't let me connect to netflix on demand

The photo you put suggests a Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-Ray player which doesn't appear to have Netflix Streaming built in to the player. Follow this link for Samsung players that do support Netflix:
