My husband and i were just recently given the queen size, dual remote heating blanket from you guys. When we try to turn on either of our remotes, it flashes F2 consistently unless unplugged. Is there something we can do to fix the problem? Thank you:)!

Unplug from the wall. Unplug the controls from the bed. Plub back into the bed making sure the plug and its receptacle are secure and that the side catches snap into place. Plug back into wall, making sure of polarity. Turn on...should be OK.

The first link has some info about the F2 code.Apparently it used to be seen as FF but was changed. It is a power problem. It is still the same problem, which is REALLY not good. The next couple of links are forums which people also have the same problem as you.I would seriously get rid of that blanket.I saw someone mention EMF.I know exactly what EMF is and it is not an issue with this blanket at all,and is present in many things.A microwave probably has more, and still is not an issue.Anything that plugs into a wall has some form of EMF present,so do not even worry about it.

My controls flashed too. It is a new blanket, I fixed it by buying another one and use the one that flashes as a blanket. It really works well this way.

Sunbeam electric blanket repair waynesboro ms

wash the blanket then throw it in the bin

electrical blankets are just a resistor element in ceramic covering and if you put that in a washing machine that is the end of the insulation

We have an sunbeam electric blanket model BL 0750 We dont seem to be able to programme it to heat up. Control lights are flashing

Hi. If you have a double or queen size blanket, switch the controls from one side to the other. If the fault follows the control, then the control is faulty. If the fault stays on the same side of the bed, then the blanket may be faulty. Most recent Sunbeam models have 3 years warranty. Once you've checked the controls, if it's under warranty call Sunbeam Customer Service on 1800025059 option 1 to report a warranty issue.

Otherwise: if the control is at fault, a new BL0750 has a recommended retail of $75.20. Get in contact with your local Sunbeam Service Centre via http://www.sunbeam.com.au/Pages/Support/Repairers.aspx
but if all else fails email me as I'm happy to help!
