My screen is lock it says PUK code what does that mean, and i can't access my cellphone what do i have to do

You need to get the PUK-Code. If ypu enter the PUK-Code you can enter ypur phone and restore your password. Now... there are 2 possibilitys to get that PUK-code:

1. Look in the package of your phone. There should be a paper that belongs to your sim-card. Somethimes you find that PUK-Code also on your cellphone-contract.

2. Make contact with your provider. He will ask you some questions to ensure it is really your phone. If it is your phone, he will give you the PUK-Code.


Now when you have the PUK-Code you may enter the wrong password two or three times untill the PUK-screen shows up.
Enter the PUK-Code given by your provider or found on the papers.

Don't insert a false PUK-Code or else your phone will be locked.

PUK code is a SIM specific code assigned by your service provider so call Customer care and state the problem then they will ask for some codes written on you SIM card. Few people use PIN locking system to lock their phone to avoid un-authorised access. Though this is a good option, it ****** you off sometime. Three wrong entry of PIN code will result in SIM blocking. Once SIM gets blocked, phone starts asking PUK code to enter. If you again enter wrong code for three times, SIM gets completely blocked. You have to walk into your service provider outlet to get a replacement SIM card.

if you forget your phone lock password so don't panic. first type wrong password more time (maybe cellphone allow wrong pass 12 time) so your cellphone goes sim card lock and ask about PUK number so call your service provider customer care and ask about your PUK than enter PUK in your cellphone and type new password. thats it

Hello Sir, The phone must have wanted the PIN Code from you and you have entered it wrong 10 times and thus your phone got blocked by PUK Code. This is a Sim or Network lock which can only be unlocked by the network provider. Kindly contact the service provider of the network and tell them to unlock the PUK Code of the Sim.

puk code is for your connections & not for the mobile so call the people who can solve problems in your connection & they will provide you the PUK code

The PUK is related to your mobile sim card and not the cellphone, cellphones are identified using the IMEI no (15 digit).
PUK code is required by the service provider, which can be located on your sim card to unlock your sim card incase it is accidently locked by entering wrong pin number (4 digits).
