F2 means that your rotor is bad and needs to be replaced. You can download the video in the link below to see how to replace the rotor and you can order the part in the link below if you wanted.

Normally the F2 showing on both drawers is unusual.

It is a rotor fault. Which means either the rotor that drives the wash arm and also works as a pump is either faulty or there is some rubbish stuck in the rotor cavity.

Lift the fiter plate out and open the rotor ring. Get the rotor out and inspect. If it looks ok or there was no noise when the F2 error showed up then the hall sensor mounted on the underside of the drawer is faulty.

The hall sensor can be hard to replace unless one has good experience in repairing dishwasher.

My dishwasher fisher pykel twin dish washer model # DD 605 , SHOWS AN ERROR CODE f7 first then shows error code f9

The top dishdrawer is hard to open or close as the lid seal actuator motors are most likely faulty or lost power. The scraping is the lid seal touching the drawer lid. The F7 and F9 error are a result of this fault with the actuator motors.
At the base of the dishwasher housing under the bottom drawer is the power board. From there the power is supplied to the controller and the motors. These motors move the lid seal into position. First turn the mains power to dishwasher off and then back on. See if this resets the motor position. If not you will have to call the technician to fix the problem. But if you are technical savy you could go to the base of the dishwasher and take the connectors of drawer 1 out from the power board and swap with drawer 2 which is working.
If power board connection is not making any difference, then motors are the likely problem. Needs a lot of expertise to replace and adjust the motors.

Dishdrawer f2 error

This is linked to a rotor problem. Check this video and clean the cavity. If no difference then need to replace the rotor.

F1 error on Fisher and Paykel Dish Drawer

Sorry did not see your problem report earlier. If you have checked the sensor under the bottom drawer and it is dry, then F1 is caused by top drawer power filter fault. This means the bottom drawer controller is giving the F1 error but the top drawer controller has no power. Can you confirm this.

Hi, I have Kitchenaid gas stove. the control panel shows the error code F2/E1.. What should I do to fix that?

Most of your F2 errors on stoves has to do with a stuck key. Use a hair dryer or a hot dish towel to warm up the keypad to loosen up that stuck key.

I have a f1 come up and a f2 on my dishwasher what is it

f1 = Flood Code

This means that the dishwasher most likely has a leak

There is a float switch in the bottom of the machine and when water gets down there it trips the code

F2 = Roter not moving

you can remove the basket and spray arm and pull the roter out and make sure its clean and give it a try.

We have a 23" Fisher&Paykel dishwasher and got

The F1 error coming on top drawer when operating bottom drawer is due to the thermal fuse blowing up on the bottom drawer and shutting controller power.

The thermal fuse could have blown either as a normal component failure or heater over heated due to thermostat failure. In any case this can be repaired by replacing the whole heater assembly as all the parts are integrated.

This is at the underside of the drawer and will need a technician to replace unless you are very familiar with repairing electronic dishwashers. The part look like this.

The way you have described the onset of the F1 error is not due to flood switch. You can confirm that the lights on the bottom drawer are out even though the top drawer is showing F1 and beeping.

If problem was flood switch then both drawers would show F1.

There is an error code f2. How can I fix this?

The F2 code= siezed pump. To check remove all the dishes followed by the grey dish wrack wedged in the bottom. Lift off the plastic spray arm to reveal a grey plastic ring around the outside of the stainless mesh, and you will also see the blue plastic impeller. Turn this anti clockwise and lift out the whole stainless mesh cover. Then there is a brownish ring with the blue pump impeller on top. Turn this anticlockwise and the pump should lift straight up and out. The impeller may have come off and lifted off with it the brown ring leaving the rest of the pump stuck in the hole. So be careful here, get it out without damaging the housing it fits into. Replace the motor/impeller unit and off you go. Yours could just be stuck of course. A clean may do the same trick.

Fisher & Paykel dishwasher drawer won't run, beeps F2 error code

Craig, we had virtually the same situation.  The repair man  came and it took 2 minutes to fix.  The problem was that the bottom drawer had not been used for a couple of years and thus the impellor had jammed.  to fix it take out the basket, lift off the rotor arm and unscrew the knob.  Then just work the impellor around with your fingers until it frees.  It then worked perfectly.  We will use the bottom often from now on to prevent this happening again. By now the left over pumpkin pie will be a bit green!!
