Hello avid.....

If there is no power to the receptacles:

1. Turn the circuit breaker switches off and disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.

2. Turn the circuit breakers on and test the GFCI's by following the procedures in this manual

on page 1 -

TO TEST A GFCI:

Start the generator. Turn the auto idle switch off. Push in the TEST button (A) on the receptacle.

The RESET button (B) will pop out. Power is now off at the receptacle.

If the RESET button does not pop out, the GFCI is not working. Do not run

generator until the problem can be corrected. To restore power to receptacle,

push the RESET button in. If the RESET button pops out during operation,
stop the generator and check the generator and equipment for defects.

3. Place the voltage selector to the 120 Volt only positions (unless you are using a tool that

requires 240 Volts).

4. Turn the idle control switch off.

5. Turn the circuit breaker(s) off and reconnect the electrical loads. Be sure that the plugs are

securely connected to the receptacles.

6. Turn the circuit breaker(s) on.

7. If there is still no power at the receptacles, take the generator to an authorized DEWALT
service center. To locate a DEWALT service center nearest to you, call 1-800-4-DEWALT

Why do i only have 94 volt output on dewalt generator 2900 watt

It should change with the load, the more load you put on the line the magnetic field increases with the amperage and the gen will produce more output until its rating is reached. This happens especially if it has been sitting a long time.

Why does my dewalt dg6300b not generate electric?

Or only the Circuit breaker is or even a damaged capacitor gs0748 40 uf 370 v pos 260 to find by the electric stator(magnet field) or electronic control modul , try to control first the slide contacts on it, If there is enough clamping tension on it.

Dewalt radio 011 wont power up with ac or dc but the red indicator light will flash one time when pluged in either ac or dc but definitly got pluged into 240

Sound like one of the Capacitors on the Power Supply has blown.

If it's the same on both AC & DC then its probably on the output of the transformer.

If you can open it up and post pictures or see if one has a buldge in the top or liquid leaking out.

Is anyone there? need Dewalt help

Here is DeWalt's marketing thing on the subject.

http://www.dewalt.com/us/cordless/powerrating/

Unit Watts out (UWO) is their rating for the (presumably sustainable)maximum power output at the chuck of the drill. You can read about it..their explanation is basically technically correct.

Yes, max torque is related. The maximum power in a permanent magnet DCmotor system occurs at half the maximum speed when the system is loadedwith half the maximum torque.

1hp = 746 watts, DeWalt's DC900 36V drill is claimed to be 750 watts, close enough so let's call it 1 HP ok? Their max RPM is 400. So 200 RPMis the half-way point.

1HP = 200RPM*Tmax(in-lbs)/(24*5252)

Tmax = approx 630 in-lbs

The equation I used is known equation for relating power (HP) to RPMand torque (in ft-lbs..I added in the factor of 1/12 to account for thein-lbs to ft-lbs conversion).

By the way DeWalt make some bold claims about other manufacterers' drills.

For example they claim the 18V Lok Tor by Milwaukee puts out 390 UWOcompared to their DC988 model listed as 420 UWO. Yet I have readinformation from Milwaukee's own independent tests that claim the LokTor drills faster 2 9/16" self-feeds AND more self-feeds per batterythan that very DeWalt model.

This was posted on Milwaukee's Tool Talk forum (when it existed). Ibelieve the Milwaukee official said that DeWalt averaged 7.2 secondsper hole while the Milwaukee averaged 6.4 seconds per hole. I make beoff slightly but I do remember it was around a 1 second difference.Plus the Milwaukee apparently drilled 28 holes per batt where dewaltwas 25.

Only getting 4vac output on a DG2900 generator

You need to use a Voltmeter and go right to the Output Terminals on the Generator, Disconnect anything from them, and measure that Open Circuit Voltage. If it is OK there, then the conditioning circuitry AFTER that is faulty. BE CAREFUL.

Dewalt charger

Measure the output voltage, if it is low then you must replace the charger, they don't sell parts to repair them.
