you just bought the new computer. I belive it must be having the wireless card. Go to the control panel and go to network connections. If you see wireless network conenction in the network connectin then you don't need to buy anything.
Is your router already set up and other computers are online using the router ?

You can't just connect up a new router to some ISP's (internet service provider) and expect it to work. My ISP requires the MAC address of the router before it can access the internet. Call your ISP and tell them what your doing. The MAC address is the physical hardware address of your router (there is no other one the same in the world). The MAC address is on a sticker on the router and consist of 12 numbers and letters.
You don't need the cd. You can configure the router through the browser. Here's the manual link. The chapter easy setup and configuration will help you set it up without the cd.
Find the cable connecting your modem and computer.
Unplug it from the modem and plug it into the gray port
on the Belkin Router.
If you are replacing an existing router, find the cable
connecting the computer and old router. Disconnect it from
the old router and plug it into the gray port on the new router.
2. Connect the new cable (provided in the box) to the yellow
port on the Router.
Plug the other end into the modem.
3. Plug in your modem’s power supply. Wait 60 seconds for the
modem to start up.
Plug the Router’s power supply into a wall outlet, and the
other end into the black port on the Belkin Router.
As the Router wakes up, lights will come on; recheck your
connections if the “power” and one of the “wired” lights
are not lit up in green after 20 seconds.
4. Locate the CD in this guide and insert it into your computer.
The Setup Assistant should appear automatically.
If it doesn’t, open the CD in My Computer and double-click on the
“Setup Assistant” icon.It will guide you through he rest of the setup.

unfortunately that is way too much data to email, in fact, most file sharing sites also will not work as the files are too big. I ended up creating dvds and selling them on ebay to help fellow finedrive 400 owners.
