It sounds like you MP3 needs to re-chip.i recommend to call philops for support to give you the necessary tools and driver / or they might service the mp3 player for you.here's the number

That is the problem with services that give you DRM-protected WMA's - as soon as the subscription lapses, the song cannot be played on your mp3 player anymore. The only way around the problem is to either: a) renew your subscription, or b) get a music service that gives you DRM-free songs, preferably a service that gives you the songs in mp3 format.

Your music may be in the wrong format or it may have DRM protection which is a license created by the recording industry. If you call our tech support number above, we can walk you through discovering why the music won't play.
Coby players can recognize .mp3 and .wma audio formats. If you're pulling the music from iTunes, it's in the wrong format and will not play on a Coby without being converted.

If you have a piece from the USB cable stuck inside your USB port, the computer needs to be serviced. Until that piece is removed you will not be able to use the port. I do not recommend trying to remove the piece youself.

When you connect the unit to the USB port on your computer, it will automatically begin charging. There are also universal wall chargers that can be purchased from Radio Shack.

You can set up the SonicStage software on multiple PC's / Laptops. You can also transfer songs from your MP3 player to your PC and Laptop or vice versa.
Try rebooting your laptop while the USB MP3 Player connected to the USB port. After reboot, try clicking on the installed SonicStage icon. If this goes through then your MP3 player will be detected and you can now transfer music to it.
