If the printers been sitting for some time, the printhead has dried up "not good" printheads generally retail around $100, you can try soaking the bottom of the printhead in metho which may fix some colors but you would be pretty lucky to get all them to work.

Print blank pages

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent inkdrying out in the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer thanreplace the print head.

Epson Stylus CX6600. The printer runs like it is printing, but no ink ends up on the page. This has been true for weeks, such that I have not been able to print or copy at all during that time. I have...

Dear friend,

If you left the printer idle for long time without switching it ON some more days the ink will get dry.So after trying to take print, the liquid ink won't flow through the micro head nozzles.Apart from this ,the head also contains some circutary problem,or it even be solved by just pushing it with liquid(only avail at service centrres). So better to service the printer in nearest service centre.

Changed both color and black inks. Did head cleaning, nozzle cleaning, allignment. Sounds like printing, but paper comes out blank.

At a guess your print head is blocked, it'll need a drop of head cleaning solution. They sell it fairly cheaply on ebay.

PLSE HELP IM TRYING TO PRINT BUT NOTHINGS HAPPENING, IT IS ALL SET UP

test the printer first, so that we can isolate the issue. print a nozzle check to eliminate the possibility that the nozzles are clogged by dried inks. if nozzle check prints blank page or it printedr but w/ gaps or breaks, do head cleaning

Check the Print Head Nozzles: 1. Load a few sheets of plain paper in the sheet feeder. 2. Turn off the Epson Stylus CX4400 Series. 3. Hold down the cx4400_ug.1.79.1.jpg Stop button as you press the cx4400_ug.1.79.2.jpg On button to turn the Epson Stylus CX4400 Series back on. Hold down both buttons until the cx4400_ug.1.79.3.jpg On light begins to flash, then release the buttons. cx4400_ug.1.79.4.jpg 4. Check the nozzle check pattern that prints to see if there are gaps in the lines. cx4400_ug.1.79.5.jpg 5. If there are no gaps, the print head is clean and you can continue printing. If there are gaps or the pattern is faint, clean the print head. Clean the Print Head Nozzles: 1. Load a few sheets of plain paper in the sheet feeder. 2. Hold down the cx4400_ug.1.80.1.jpg Stop button for at least 4 seconds to start the cleaning cycle, which lasts around 1 minute. cx4400_ug.1.80.2.jpg The cx4400_ug.1.80.3.jpg On light flashes throughout the cleaning cycle and stays on green when the cycle is finished. Caution:
Never turn off the Epson Stylus CX4400 Series during a cleaning cycle or you may damage it. 3. Run a nozzle check to confirm that the print head is clean. You may need to clean the print head up to 2 times. You can also turn the Epson Stylus CX4400 Series off and wait at least 6 hours. Then try printing again.

I press print. It acts all busy and loud. Prints NOTHING

If paper is feeding through and you don't get any errors try this: Try doing 4 to 5 head cleans, wait about 10 hours for the ink to soften and do another 3 or 4 cleans with a nozzle check after each. You should see a gradual improvement in the nozzle checks. If there is no improvement then you need a head cleaning solution such as this one:

Others are available just try googling "inkjet head cleaning".
Hope this helps.
Please take a moment to rate this solution, thanks.

Still getting blank pages.

You have air or dry ink in the nozzle chambers, you use the head cleaning facility but when it finishes it asks you to print a nozzle check pattern, click the finish button.

You need to do 4 head cleans and cancel the nozzle check print after each until the 4 are done then allow it to print the pattern.

This will prime your heads and clear out any air locks.

The only other thing I need to check, but it's a bit of a numpty suggestion. If you have not removed the yellow 'tear off' strips, no ink will flow and your chambers will be full of air. If this is what happened, remove the 'tear off' strips and carry out the procedure above.

I hope this helps.

You don't need the utility for this but it would be handy for you to have.

It is quite easy to find, it's on our home page and on the Epson page just below the big blue drop down menu box. It's simply a 'click here' link along side the text "If your printer needs resetting" etc etc.

Good luck!

Cx6600 printer problem

if you left your printer for two weeks or more without using, the print heads may be stuffiness. In this case (aparently yours cases) you must take your printer to a authorized service, they will can clean (with a proper fluid) or replace the ink heads, if cleaning is not possible.
